We back the shell for as long as you own the pool.
The structural shell matters most: the shotcrete, the bond beam, and the steel inside it. We engineer it to your lot’s actual conditions and stand behind it. If it fails because of our workmanship or materials, we fix it.
Structural, equipment, workmanship. Each with its own terms.
Lifetime structural warranty
Covers the shotcrete, bond beam, and steel for as long as you own the pool. Scoped to the original owner — doesn’t transfer on sale.
3-year Pentair manufacturer warranty
We use Pentair on pumps, filters, heater, automation, and lights. The whole pad is covered under one brand, and we handle the paperwork.
1-year California contractor warranty
Covers plaster, tile, coping, deck, plumbing, and the rest of the workmanship for one year from completion.

What doesn't get covered.
No warranty covers everything forever. Here's what our structural warranty doesn't cover, so there are no surprises at claim time:
- Normal wear (plaster roughens after 10–15 years — that's regular maintenance)
- Ground movement beyond what the engineer designed for
- Changes made by other contractors
- Damage from bad water chemistry (low pH etching plaster, etc.)
- Freezing damage (rare here but worth noting)
Most builders match our shell warranty. Most fall short on the equipment warranty.
Most builders offer a lifetime structural warranty. A properly engineered shell has a 50+ year design life, so the structural warranty isn’t where builders differ. The equipment warranty is.
We use Pentair on every build, so you get a 3-year manufacturer warranty across the whole equipment set. Mixed-brand builds usually end up with shorter manufacturer defaults on most components. We handle the Pentair claim paperwork for the full 3 years, so you’re not chasing a pump company. And the things that void the structural warranty are spelled out in plain English on this page, not buried in fine print.
Warranty, frequently asked.
Does the warranty transfer when I sell the home?
No. The structural warranty is scoped to you as the original owner; it doesn't follow the home if you sell. This is industry-standard for residential pool warranties. Equipment manufacturers' warranties have their own transfer terms that vary by manufacturer.
What specifically does the lifetime structural warranty cover?
The shotcrete pool shell, the bond beam, and the steel that reinforces them. If any of those fail because of our workmanship or materials, we repair it. For as long as you own the pool.
What doesn't the structural warranty cover?
Everything that isn't the shell. Plaster, pebble, quartz, tile, coping, deck, plumbing, mastic, equipment. All of that falls under the 1-year California contractor warranty on workmanship. The Pentair equipment set has its own 3-year manufacturer warranty on top. The structural warranty also doesn't cover damage from ground movement beyond engineered tolerances, modifications by other contractors, or damage from neglected water chemistry (low pH etches plaster).
How does the equipment warranty work?
We use Pentair on every build, and Pentair offers a 3-year manufacturer warranty on a full equipment set. We handle the Pentair claim paperwork for the full 3 years so you're not on hold with a pump company.
What about the workmanship warranty (plaster, tile, coping, deck, plumbing)?
California contractors carry a 1-year warranty on workmanship by law. That covers the plaster work, the tile work, the coping, the deck, the plumbing, and the mastic for one year from completion. After that year, it's normal pool ownership: pebble surfaces eventually wear, plaster eventually needs resurfacing every 10 to 15 years, tile and coping last decades when the install was done right.
How do I file a warranty claim?
Just call us. An owner will diagnose it (often with photos) and get it fixed if it's covered. You don't chase anyone.
